這棟新加坡式透天住宅，一樓為停車空間，二樓以上才是核心生活區，清楚區隔外部與私領域，讓回到家中成為真正放鬆時刻。我們希望這裡不只是住的地方，而是讓業主回歸純粹與安定的居所。

#回家的心境轉換

玄關是心境轉換的地方，從室外走進家中第一步，就應該能轉化不同氛圍。原本的大理石地坪過於冷硬，我們替換成有復古感的花磚，不只增添細節，也呼應業主對老家的兒時記憶，讓這個小小的空間多了一份熟悉的溫度。

樓梯下的畸零處變成收納區，解決死角積塵的問題。既有石材台階換成木地板，腳踩上去更溫潤柔和，讓「回家」這件事不只是動作，更成為一種身體的記憶。

#開放式的空間讓家更自由

我們以中島餐桌為生活核心，規劃回字動線，讓空間使用上更靈活，不會因為固定家具而受限。簡約乾淨的天花板維持空間純粹，鏡面元素則巧妙延展視覺，使空間更顯通透與明亮。

家具與軟裝選擇低彩度、柔和質感的奶茶色與木質紋理，讓空間不過度裝飾仍富有層次感。希望家人相聚時，能夠輕鬆自在不受拘束。

#安穩而純粹的私領域

主臥是放鬆與回歸自我的空間，所以希望設計能回歸簡單，盡量減少多餘的線條。

牆面選擇天然礦物塗料，不僅營造質樸氛圍，也能讓空間更具延伸感，形成內斂而安定的視覺語言；床尾的設計用隱藏門解決床對廁所的問題，也順勢規劃了 二次汙衣收納區，讓動線更順，使用起來更直覺。

光線、材質、留白、動線，交織出家的溫度。我們希望家不只是視覺上的美感，而是能讓居住者真正感受純粹的空間、溫潤的材質、光影的變化，在這個找到最舒適的生活步調。

During our conversations with the homeowner, she always brought a sense of childlike wonder to the table. To her, a home isn’t just a place to live—it’s where emotions settle and everyday life unfolds. She’s drawn to the cozy warmth of milk tea tones and the natural comfort of wood, hoping for a space that feels both relaxing and rich in daily rhythm.

With that in mind, we found a balance between warmth and simplicity, elegance and livability. Through materials, lighting, and intentional negative space, we created a setting where family members can connect effortlessly and share their time together.

This home is a Singapore-style townhouse, with parking on the ground level and the core living areas starting on the second floor. This clear separation between the outside and private realms makes returning home feel like a true escape. More than just a residence, we wanted this to be a calm and grounding sanctuary.

# A Mindset Shift at the Door

The entryway is where your mindset shifts—from the noise of the outside world to the peace of home. The original marble flooring felt too cold and rigid, so we replaced it with vintage-inspired tiles. Not only do they add detail, but they also echo the homeowner’s childhood memories, bringing a sense of familiarity and warmth into this small but meaningful space.

We transformed the awkward area beneath the stairs into a storage nook, eliminating dead corners where dust would gather. The original stone treads were swapped for wood, making each step feel softer and warmer—so that coming home becomes more than just a motion; it becomes a tactile memory.

# An Open Space That Flows with Life

We centered the layout around a kitchen island and dining table, creating a looped flow that allows for flexible use of space without being limited by fixed furniture. The clean, simple ceiling keeps the overall look light and pure, while mirror surfaces extend the space visually, enhancing brightness and openness.

Furniture and decor were carefully chosen in muted tones—milk tea hues and soft wood textures—to give the space depth without overwhelming it. The goal was to make sure that when the family gathers, the atmosphere stays easy, casual, and free of constraints.

# A Quiet and Grounded Private Realm

The primary bedroom is where the homeowner can unwind and return to herself, so we designed it with simplicity in mind, reducing unnecessary lines. The walls are finished with natural mineral paint, creating a textured calm that visually expands the room and conveys a quiet, grounded mood.

A hidden door at the end of the bed solves the issue of the bathroom being directly in view, while also cleverly concealing a secondary laundry area. The circulation is now more intuitive, and everything just flows naturally.

Light, materials, negative space, and thoughtful circulation all come together to define the warmth of this home. We didn’t just aim for visual beauty—we wanted the space to be felt. For the homeowners to experience the softness of textures, the rhythm of shifting light, and the peace that comes with well-designed space. A place where they can live at their most natural, comfortable pace.
