「baan」在泰文是「家」的意思，我們依據業主的喜好及生活習慣，打造對家的美好想像，這個空間不僅是一個住宅，更是親子相聚的場所。

在客變階段，業主就決定退掉建商附贈的建材，包括二套浴室的磁磚、設備和全室的木地板，交屋的現場呈現半毛胚狀態，讓我們在材質運用上有很大的發揮，畫面不僅能能呈現異國情調，還能融入泰國隨興且CHILL的生活態度，整體配色以黑色帶米杏色為基底，融入黃銅金屬及泰國傢俱的獨特元素，同時引入了藤編和熱帶植物，讓空間展現最大的包容性。

家的核心設定在餐桌區域，我們的餐桌結合一處小中島，試圖將廚房的功能延伸到餐桌，同時也是空間最有凝聚力的地方。
玄關地坪透過純粹的黑與立面的深色木皮相呼應，局部使用不銹鋼、銅件、水磨石等自然紋理加以點綴，這些材料在時光的洗禮中會轉變為獨一無二的模樣，記載著全家人的生活軌跡。

二套浴室地面和壁面貼磚方式也不同，主浴室採用大量的馬賽克磚及仿塗料磁磚，讓狹小的浴室在視覺上帶有一點趣味性。
AXOR淋浴設備乾淨俐落的造型，也賦予這個小空間精緻優雅的品味。

考慮到業主二位女兒還小，我們預留了一間客房做為一大二小成員的共同書房，傢俱盡可能以可移動式為主，MUJI的SUS不銹鋼系統層架扮演儲物功能，在有限的空間內擠下三個人的使用機能，同時展現業主對設計傢俱的隨興與喜愛。

“Baan” means “home” in Thai.

We’ve created a beautiful vision of home based on the owner’s preferences and lifestyle habits, making this space not just a residence, but a place for parents and children to gather.

During the customization phase, the owners early on opted out of the equipment and materials provided by the developer, including tiles and fixtures for two bathrooms and wooden flooring for the entire house. As a result, the property was in a semi-finished state upon handover, giving us great flexibility in the use of materials.

In our design, we aimed to present not only an exotic atmosphere but also incorporate Thailand’s casual and chill lifestyle attitude. 

The overall color scheme is based on black with beige, integrating brass metal elements and unique Thai furniture features. We also introduced rattan and tropical plants, allowing the space to showcase maximum inclusivity while immersing in the Thai style that the owners love.

The core of the home is set in the dining area. Our dining table combines with a small island, attempting to extend the kitchen’s functionality to the dining table, making it the most cohesive spot in the space.

The entrance floor is in pure black, echoing the dark wood veneer on the vertical surfaces. Stainless steel, copper, and terrazzo with natural textures are used partially for decoration. These materials will transform into unique patterns over time, recording the family’s life trajectory.

The flooring and wall tiling methods differ in the two bathrooms. The master bathroom uses a large amount of mosaic tiles and imitation paint tiles, adding visual interest to the small bathroom.

The clean and sleek design of AXOR bathroom fixtures also gives this small space an exquisite and elegant taste. Considering that the owner’s two daughters are still young, we reserved a guest room as a shared study for the two adults and two children. The furniture is mostly movable, with MUJI’s SUS stainless steel shelving system serving storage functions. We managed to fit functions for three people in the limited space, while showcasing the owner’s casual love for designer furniture.
