“What does home mean to you?”

Perhaps it is curling up in the living room and playing games with the children, gathering around the dining table for dinner and sharing stories from the day, or simply enjoying a quiet moment alone in the study.

This home is built upon a palette of black, grey, and white, with generous areas of visual calm and a neutral foundation that can embrace almost any color. Rather than defining every detail in advance, we leave room for the residents to gradually fill the space with the colors of their own lives, allowing the modern interior to evolve naturally over time.

Upon entering the foyer, irregular hexagonal floor tiles subtly guide the way home. The layout gives as much space as possible to the shared areas, enlarging the living room so the children can move freely, play, and even build their own little castles at home.

To meet the family’s needs, we custom-designed a large dining table for six. Whether for meals, reading, puzzles, or everyday conversations, it becomes the heart of the home, a place where the family naturally gathers each day.

In a quiet corner of the living room, we also reserved a dedicated space for the family’s cat. The litter box is concealed within the cabinetry and connected to a ventilation system integrated into the ceiling, keeping the function discreet while maintaining a comfortable living environment.

Moving into the private area, the walk-in closet comes into view first. The upper portion of the partition wall is replaced with glass, allowing natural light from the window to travel deeper into the space and reducing the sense of enclosure within the compact layout.

Here, the material palette shifts into warmer tones. Soft milk-tea hues are paired with light wood grain, creating a calmer and more intimate atmosphere, a place for the residents to slow down, rest, and return to themselves.
