老屋新生：40 年老宅到現代辦公與居住空間

我們重新詮釋這棟40年的透天厝，以俐落線條與現代建材，轉型為居住混和辦公空間的空間型態，針對屋主實際需求進行調整，也解決過去老屋存在的棘手問題，讓空間更舒適更貼近使用者需求。

1、外觀改造，提升耐候性與質感

捨棄原本的老舊磁磚，改採 STO 外牆塗料與淺灰色金屬企口板，讓建築外觀更加俐落，同時提升防水、防污與耐候性。這樣的材質選擇不僅降低後續維護成本，低調卻保有該有的氣質，在這條巷弄中優雅地佇立著。

2、採光與通風優化

老屋原本的格局封閉，導致光線無法進入室內。我們調整了窗戶開口與格局配置，放大採光面積，讓光線能夠深入各個角落，搭配適當的照明規劃，即使在陰天，室內也能保持明亮舒適。

這次翻修不只是讓老屋變新，而是讓空間真正適應現代生活。從既有的結構出發，針對問題進行改善，使這棟老屋不只是存在，而是能夠被真正再被使用，陪伴屋主新生活繼續前進。

We reinterpreted this 40-year-old townhouse with sleek lines and modern materials, transforming it into a mixed-use space that integrates both residential and office functions. The design was tailored to the homeowner’s needs while addressing the persistent challenges of an aging structure, making the space more comfortable and practical.

1. Exterior Renovation: Enhancing Durability and Aesthetics

The outdated tile façade was replaced with STO exterior coating and light gray metal cladding, creating a cleaner, more refined look while improving waterproofing, stain resistance, and weather durability. This material choice not only reduces maintenance costs but also ensures the building stands elegantly within the alley, understated yet full of character.

2. Optimizing Natural Light and Ventilation

The original floor plan was enclosed, limiting natural light penetration. We adjusted the window openings and spatial layout, expanding the light-receiving areas to allow sunlight to reach every corner. Combined with well-planned lighting design, the interior remains bright and inviting even on cloudy days.

This renovation goes beyond simply modernizing an old home—it adapts the space to contemporary living. By addressing key structural issues, this house is no longer just a preserved relic but a fully functional space that continues to support its residents in their daily lives.
